Turning our waste into edible and sustainable fungi
Our eye is on sustainability and what started out as our passion project to reuse our waste has taken a life of its own.
We grow an array of gourmet mushrooms at our brewery located in the Margaret River region on our spent grain (from the beer) and coffee grinds, along with grinds from other local Margaret River cafes.
We are currently growing:
pink oyster mushrooms;
pearl oyster mushrooms;
and more .
Proudly diverting local and our own waste into edible and sustainable food source since 2018
The mushroom substrate is then donated to gardens around the region. Turning our waste into something usable and edible is something we are passionate about.
You can find us most Saturdays at the Margaret River Farmers Market.
